If you're wondering who I am exactly, don't worry too much about it. Essentially, I am just like you only I don't know if you're in a Sunsetters '10 t-shirt and sweatpants while simultaneously floundering over your future just nearing your twenty-first year of life.
I'm Stefani and this is my new blog as opposed to my old blog, on tumblr, where I was known as 'stefanipaige'. While I'm pretty sure my blog name is the same I'd prefer you all to know me as Stefani. It's pronounced like Stephanie but spelled like Gwen Stefani's last name.
When I was younger I used to look her up on the internet for all her success stories and just cover 'Gwen' with my hand and pretend it was about me. I'm going to put all my sidetracked anecdotes in italics because I'm worth it.
I struggle with a lot of normal early twenties problems like finding myself and wondering why I'm not changing the world yet. Why I don't have a lot of friends and why people hurt people the way that they do. Why we change and what for. I'm learning every step of the way and that's exciting. I like it.
I guess I'll be documenting that here, but not the way that I did on tumblr, but more drawn out, more for the right reasons, more reflection instead of a need for gratification. Perhaps what I learn will help you with your own life, older or younger, boy or girl, gay or straight, black or white, or anything in between.
When I was a Junior in high school I used to post what I learned in life through 'chapters' on Facebook after the end of every quarter and people responded pretty well, I guess.
So maybe these are my new chapters.
Maybe they're the right ones.
In short, I'm Stefani: neurotic, high strung, relaxed, brunette, freckly and nearly twenty-one.
I'm here for you but I'm writing for me (and for you, too).
